The CNB 76 heading to the Nautic 2014 Boat Show
The media was there on 19 November when the NBC 76 was loaded onto the truck that will take her to Paris. This delicate operation was caught on camera – starting with placing the hull on the truck’s trailer, without the keel which will only be put on once the boat is back from the show. Cradles specially built for the trip were welded onto the trailer so the boat could travel in all confidence. The boom will in turn be transported by another truck, accompanied by an exhibition mast made especially for the occasion.
With her white thermoformed plastic coat, the CNB 76 will travel at night so as not to interfere with traffic. This exceptional week-long journey will only take place on country roads.
The CNB 76’s arrival at the Exhibition Hall at the Porte de Versailles, scheduled for Thursday 26 November, will also be followed closely by television crews who wouldn’t miss it for the world!
