Is Cap d’Agde the latest 'in' destination for CNBs to spend the winter? 03/20

Is Cap d’Agde the latest 'in' destination for CNBs to spend the winter?

Right now, there are nine Bordeaux 60s wintering at Sud-Croisières in Cap d’Agde: Sun Bird, Althane, Maia, Poerava, Red Castle, Kismet, Kali, and Sookie II, formerly named Alayat. Sookie II is being careened, alongside Kismet, since the two yachts will be racing against one another at the next CNB Rendez-Vous, and possibly also at Les Voiles de St Tropez, so they both want a perfect hull for the occasion!

Indeed, the new owner of Sookie II has every intention of winning a place up on the Bordeaux 60 podium.

Nini, formerly named Nina, also has a new owner, who comes from Santiago de Compostela. The yacht left Cap d’Agde last week and is headed for Galicia.
Another three CNB superyachts can also be glimpsed at Cap d’Agde: Vaïnato (CNB 64), Swallows and Amazons (CNB  77) and Amazon Creek (CNB 77).

It seems that Cap d’Agde may have become the favourite winter retreat for CNB yachts; perhaps it's because of all the loving care and attention they are given there?

Two CNB 76s ready for delivery in Bordeaux

On the banks of the Garonne, in front of the CNB shipyard, two CNB 76s are undergoing trials and being prepared prior to their imminent departure to their respective home ports.
CNB 76 No.4, MIN, is the model which was exhibited at the Nautic boat Show in Paris in December 2014. Her Turkish owner and the crew will take delivery of the yacht at the end of this month, and will then take her to Istanbul.
NEYINA is the CNB 76 No.5, and she will be in the Mediterranean, available for charter, through Merex, as of this summer 2015.

The two yachts have different interior layouts. MIN has the more classic "Sirocco" design, and a customised owner's cabin, with the bed positioned against the bookcase.
As for NEYINA, she has a similar layout to the CNB 76 No.1, Léo, having opted for the "Mauka" design.
The rigging on the two yachts is also different: MIN, white masted, is fitted with a hydraulic in-mast furler and a Hall Spars carbon boom.
NEYINA has a carbon mast, which is two metres taller than her neighbour.
