After Spitsbergen, the owners of Malaika continued to explore the lands of the Far North and Scandinavia. Here, they invite us to roam the frozen seas of Norway on board their "exploration yacht", a CNB 76!
Gerhard and Sabine are "the adventurous owners" of Malaika, CNB 76 number 10. They've collected a great many sailing trips in the warm seas of the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. For this new adventure, they wanted to get off the beaten track and discover a totally different sailing environment, highlighting the versatility of CNB yachts, easy to use even in extreme conditions!
Just like for her trip to the Svalbard archipelago (the most northern land in Norway), Malaika was equipped of an additional bow protection and extra heater to explore the polar region in the best conditions, safely and comfortably.
In the same way as they had shared their discovery of Spiszbergen, today's video retraces their sailing along the magnificent Norwegian coasts. Breath-taking scenery surrounded by crystal-clear water provides the possibility of exploring wild, bewitching and majestic flora and fauna. Enjoy this stunning footage:
Keep in touch, many more trips are in store… Malaika and her crew will soon head for Sweden after having spent the winter in the Mediterranean. Follow them here.
