For more than 30 years, Groupe Bénéteau's largest monohulls have been built on the banks of the Garonne River along the CNB quays. They will now be joining the banks of the Adriatic at the group's production site in Monfalcone.
The birthplace of the one-offs, then the Bordeaux 60 and now the CNB 66
and CNB 76
, the Bordeaux site is also the manufacturing base for the large Lagoon and the forthcoming Excess ranges. The industrial rationalization required by the mass production of catamarans is complicated to combine with the development of CNB yacht builders. The possibility of customization and the unitary approach to each of our boats requires a tool calibrated to small production runs; a clever balance between craftsmanship know-how and industrial rigor.
The Monfalcone site, home to the Monte Carlo Yacht motoryacht brand, perfectly meets these specifications. It shares the same DNA as CNB yacht builders: uncompromising quality.
Familiar with all the standards of luxury, the highly qualified Italian staff will be able to guarantee a level of finish capable of satisfying the most demanding requirements. The site has a painting booth, a cabinetmaker's shop and all the modern equipment required to meet the highest quality standards.
This is undeniably an opportunity for CNB yacht builders to take advantage of this industrial tool perfectly adapted to its market.
The obvious industrial synergies with Monte Carlo Yacht will lead to the first CNB 66 and CNB 76 being built in Italy in spring 2020.
The brand's headquarters stay in Bordeaux.
