As they do every year, for one week the residents of St Tropez hosted the world’s best-known Mediterranean regatta: Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez.
This year, the prestigious event, held from 26 September to 4 October, experienced some disruption. In fact, the weather conditions resulted in the cancellation of the races scheduled for the Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as the CNB Day Sail originally scheduled for Thursday 1 October.
The bad weather did not put everyone off, and many of them went out to cross swords in the Gulf of St Tropez. In the end this year, of the CNBs entered in the regatta, it was the Bordeaux 60 Althane that was on the podium at the end of the week, ahead of Kismet, Nina and Vaïnato.
An intrepid swimming photographer captured some evocative images this week. Photos that the crews were able to admire at the CNB cocktail party held at the luxurious Hôtel de Paris
